Melanie del Mundo, LTD

I am a licensed clinical professional counselor and have over twenty years experience in the field. I grew up as a first generation Filipino-American in the suburbs of Chicago. I earned my Bachelor of Science in psychology and zoology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I worked as a medical technologist for five years before earning my Master of Arts in Counseling from Northwestern University. I spent my first years of clinical experience in community mental health on the north side of Chicago. I then worked at an alternative high school with at-risk teens and their families. I have been working in private practice since 2007 and continue to be linked to the community as a resource therapist in a partial hospitalization program. Given my professional background and personal experiences, I have always been interested in how the many factors in one’s life impact their development, perspective and relationships.
